At first glance, it seems that BMW have played it safe with the new 5 Series. Built on BMW’s so-called ‘backbone strategy’, the Fives are now larger than ever before – at 4841 mm it’s the longest vehicle in its class. Unlike the previous model, it uses a more conventional monocoque form, rather than a hybrid, and its body is a blend of aluminium (bonnet, doors and front wings) and steel. It’s a classy, bold design, with a dynamic front form and sculpted flanks. nside, the interior design shows serious restraint.

The gear-lever is joystick-like, but beyond that there is little that could offend the design-conscious, and much to enjoy. In the rear, the larger wheelbases provide greater legroom and shoulder space than previous models – space enough for two large adults comfortably (and three at a push). The materials are high quality and sophisticated, with stylish trims. BMW prioritize comfort, and the 5 Series has a superb driving experience. The seating offers plenty of space and leg room, and can be adjusted to suit all driver types, with the major controls positioned well.

The only flaw is the slight offset of the pedals, which some drivers may find inconvenient. It’s a pleasant car to use, due to nice touches such as a hydraulic-powered cover beneath the boot floor, an independently opening rear windscreen, and a rear seat split as 40/20/40 in the standard models. The In built GPS and Music System have plenty of options for In - car entertainment. The legroom for the driver and front passenegr is great and the rear seats does not lack it also. The passenegers who would be occupying the rear seat will not be having any seating problem though. The features 6 Airbags, ABS, Auto Climate Control, Deffoger and Rear A.C and Rear Armrest also.Not to forget, the car is also loaded with features as Tinted Glass and plenty of other great features which makes it a pure confortable tourer. Leather Fabrics Seats are comfortable and this overall package makes this car a powerful super luxurous car to ride on. The main powerhouse of the car is outstanding, Powered by a 3.0 Litre V8 4 valve  Diesel Engine which produces 240 of Horsepower at 4000 rpm and 520Nm of Torque at 1750 rpm. Ah! Enough power to make this super luxurious car turn into a true powerdul speeding monter. Fuel Economy is around 8kmpl in city and 12kmpl in Highways with an overall 10Kmpl which is not bad at all.

Ride quality is awesome. Suspension of the car is great and both front and rear passenegrs can feel the superb riding quality, The driving is an ease and the rear passengers can hardly feel any bumps on the roads. Either High speeds or Low speeds , one cannot even feel even a single bump on road making the riding quality as ease as you are driving on a clean highway. This is very good as we all know how our indian roads are. The Drive is super smooth. Handling of the car is neither bad at all. Car handles great in the city and even at the speeds the car doesnt loose its control. At 180 kmph, one can handle the car in ease. Cornoring is great and the car is very stable at high speeds too. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph.
