The Indian auto maker Tata Motors launched the all new Tata Indica eV2, the most fuel efficient car in India today. Certified by the ARAI, the car offers an excellent mileage of 25 kmpl, adding on the brownie points of the revamped hatchback. The hatchback is powered with the all new CR4 Common Rail Diesel engine. Tata Indica eV2 is priced between Rs. 3.95 lakhs and Rs. 4.77 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi for the CR4 diesel engine. However the MPFI petrol variant is priced at a range of Rs. 2.95 lakhs and Rs. 3.58 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi. August 20, 2010 - Tata Motors best known for its world's cheapest small car Tata Nano, has launched new version of its most popular family car - Tata Indica V2 christened Tata Indica V2 Turbomax. The BS IV complaint new version is available for sale in two variants viz., DLE and DLS. The DLE comes with standard steering wheel while the DLS is equipped with 4 spoke power steering wheel. The new avatar of Tata Indica V2 is claimed to give combined 19 kmpl of fuel efficiency, as per ARAI.
